Man, I'm p sure my hype levels would be much lower without wasting my 9-5 down time in here. You all rule, and this and the wrestling thread are my favorite places on the site.

Which leads me to a question, as I sit here prepping for an IRL game night: would anyone here wanna try a chorus.fm game night? I have Jackbox Party Pack 3 on steam, and because that game uses phones/tablets, I could make a twitch account, host a stream, and anyone with a smart device could play. I'm thinking Thursday night as we drown in hype before losing our lives to Zelda. Anyone in?

Thursday I'm going to a Switch release so I can be jealous of my friend picking his up. I'm down for some other time though.

@electro haikus I'd be down but the main concern on my part is the timezone difference, haha. Where are u from?

It's just one of those things that would bother me since it makes no sense contextually in the game, ha. If you could do the same thing with a random dog in the game I'd be into it.

 

I am upstate NY, so EST, and would be available anywere from 6-10 PM. Where does that fall for you?

 

I just realized I'm seeing the Menzingers on Thursday though. Damn.

 

@electro haikus I'm from Manila (Philippines). Apple Clock says I'm 13 hours ahead, haha. So that would probably be March 3 here (unless we're following NY time, then I'm getting Switch on a Saturday).

Either way, just go ahead and set a date/time you're comfortable with. If it's a workable time for me I'd def join.

I love that band! For 2 months I honestly forgot we were on a music site primarily haha. I've been mostly here, and lurking the comics/horror threads.

I'm so excited. I've seen them open a few times, but I'm glad I'll finally catch them on a proper headliner.

 

I've done this before with other internet communities and it's always a ton of fun. A suggestion though, use beam.pro or hitbox to stream instead of Twitch, the stream delay for those is only a few seconds instead of the 15-30 of Twitch, makes for a much better experience since time is a key component of Jackbox.

 

I get that. I'm sure I'll just use him when I'm out screwing around, not when I'm trying to tackle the main story stuff. I just can't wait to get lost in that world and mess around.

Here for it. I'm in the same timezone so 6-whenever is cool for me. Depending on when I get home from work I might join in after 6 but regardless I'm down.
