Guys - more switch questions. Say my gf and I both get Switch Lites. Will we need to buy two of the same game (aka Mario Kart) to be able to play that together at the same time? I’ve seen you can game share, but I don’t know whether we’d be able to do online multiplayer together with just the one game.

 

Also - if I have a Japanese ESHOP account, will my switch be in Japanese? I’m hoping to use the Japanese account but if it makes all of my Switch in Japanese that’s a problem...

 

2 Switches need 2 copies of the game.

BUT you can play splitscreen MK8 with 1 Switch. You can also go online with 2 players using 1 Switch.

It depends on the game, just so happens MK8 supports it.

EDIT: with a switch lite it becomes more complicated. since you don’t have extra joycons then you would need to buy 1 copy for each Switch Lite.

 

Ok so a little about me here: I’m 5’10” and 210lbs so overweight. Before this lockdown I have been going to the gym everyday for 1.5 years. Rarely missing a day. Not the strong by any means but have pretty good stamina.

I played Ring Fit for 15 minutes and I think I’m going to die!

 

i keep telling myself i need to go back and play RingFit again, but yeah that game is really tiring. but im in a bad shape so i kinda expected it.

did the jog tire you? or was it just everything?

Really just a combo of everything. Although I never jog so that was a big part of it. For cardio I usually do brisk walks, stairs, and cycling. But I’m terrible when it comes to squats and extending my arms above my head for long periods of time

Nope! You can have as many accounts as you want on your Switch so what most people do is have one primary account in their native language/country and have a secondary account in JPN, UK, etc. When you unbox your Switch and set it up it lets you decide what language and region you want and you link it with the Nintendo Account of your choice.

Of course of course. For what it's worth. I have a Switch Lite as well as a normal one and the Switch Lite feel fantastic in comparison. It's just the right size and weight. If you aren't going to play on TV anyway then it's definitely a great purchase. Just a reminder though, games like Mario Party can't be played because they require joy con motion controls. Be sure to look for which games don't work in handheld only mode. Which isn't a lot thankfully.

 

If you buy your games from the eshop you can set up family sharing so you only need one game.

Yeah I’ve got a PS4 Pro for the TV. This is for my travelling on the plane and chilling in bed! Gonna take me a while to get used to the controls but I’m enjoying everything so far.
