When does the Witcher go on sale again? Now that the update improved performance I’m ready to plunge

 

Man I went down a rabbit hole of old GBC games I used to have. I should get a Game Boy SP.

This game was legit. You had this little robot guy and the battle system was kinda like pinball, there was a gauge you could use to bounce off the walls and into enemies and do damage. You'd get different cores to upgrade your walker to a ground or water or flying type. Pretty unique.

Did you know there was an RTS on the Game Boy Color?? Well there was and it was legit. You had peasants to gather resources so you could build barracks and towers and train knights and whatnot. You could be the orcs or the humans. Very impressive for a GBC game.

Then of course this isn't a GBC game but it's been on my mind a lot lately. Might have to hit up eBay to see if I can find this one again.

 

Oh man, Mystical Ninja is so good. Amazing game.

I really hope GBC/GBA is the next console added to Switch online, I’d prefer it even to N64 - I think the games hold up better now than the early 3D era stuff

 

there was a Goemon game on GB though!

I’m just digging BOTW, FE:TH, and Astral Chain a lot. My wife getting me a switch may well be the best thing she’s ever bought me. Don’t tell her.

 

ive had a big urge to revisit BotW and that is very very rare for me

I could get down with this. A bunch of Zelda games I haven’t played on the handhelds.

 

Nintendo should just release a GBA classic dammit

 

I want to play BotW more and do master mode but I don’t want to surpass 200 hours and lose the “tracking”

 

My N64 doesn't turn on half the time and freezes up if I slightly tug the controllers, so I'd definitely prefer N64 games on the virtual console than GBA

Plus, it's a lot easier to play Gameboy games on an emulator on my phone than an N64 emulator in a worst case scenario anyway

 

I feel like the n64 games they would drip feed on nso would be stuff like glover, gex and chameleon twist and I'd be all over that

 

id be all in for glover on switch

So is star fox 2 and super Mario world and a bunch of other games. Nintendo just likes to see people suffer

 

they are def stalling until the year subs from Twitch Prime lapse. they need something to retain those users into paid subs.

 

Yeah I reckon DKC will hit online sometime around June/July - there will be a reason they’re holding it back to do with a large number of subscribers expiring at a certain time.

Either that or they don’t have any more systems to add to online after the SNES so they’re just waiting to drop it in September

 

can you still buy games on the Wii shop or is that support long gone
