i mean Quest 64 came out firmly in the time where most kids got a few games a year outside of rentals and you fuckin liked whatever you got haha. i can say with total honesty my other most fond N64 memory is Space Station Silicon Valley for similar reasons lol.

 

Just bought Steamworld Dig 2. I beat part one a few weeks ago and curious to see how part two is different...

 

There are no good alternatives because Q64 is King.

 

I listened to the "How Did This Get Played" podcast episode about it last week, it was great. Apparently it was supposed to be the N64's response to all the great PS1 RPGs lolol

Finished the Crimson Flower path in Three Houses. Fantastic stuff. Managed to do it on hard without losing any units so I felt extra proud after not having played the series in a while. Gonna do Golden Deer next.

btw is best buy reliable for preorders? ive heard that people were preordering the ac switch in different stores for fear of having their orders cancelled.

I got my original switch at Best Buy on the day the system launched. No problems at all. Amazon is usually the one I worry about the most.
