Whatever happened w luigis mansion? Was it a little underwhelming? I felt like all the hype was on the front end and I haven’t heard much about it since the release. Even my go to switch fiend students don’t seem that jazzed.

my only complaint with DQXIS was how visually linear the map was

then i just got the boat after work and im still cummin

 

it is second only to Pokemon as a top tier podcast listening game

 

99% of the time that I play video games I listen to music and keep the game silent

I do love the song that starts to play everywhere like midgame with the flute n shit. That song is badass

if a game has interesting sound design im happy to focus on it. if it doesnt idk why im beholden to it

 

for another example, playing Xenoblade with the voice acting on during battle and hearing the same soundbites over and over sucks, podcasts and music any day over that

i didnt mean it in response to your comment. if you played a game and realized you would rather not have to hear the same music you didnt like all the time, then by all means, but if youre always or almost always going straight to other music (as some posts above yours imply) then you are purposely depriving yourself of a big part of a game’s presentation and something that the developers presumably put effort and thought into, and thats a shitty way to consume media.
