    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

Technically they were buying the games for me, and I couldn't open them until Christmas. Thankfully, Smash didn't come out until December 3rd that year, and the only launch game I had at Christmas was THPS3. Picked up Rogue Squadron 2 with Christmas money.

I still, to this day, have never played through Luigi's Mansion.

Oh man, Gamecube launch period was probably the most hyped I ever was for games. THPS3, Batman Vengeance, Luigi's Mansion, Rogue Leader, Simpsons Road Rage. Good times.

Rogue Leader is one of the all-time best launch games of any console, ever.

I remember my grandma taking me to walmart to buy an NES and Mario 3. That was my intro to nintendo.

I fucking *loved* Bubble Bobble growing up. I will get the theme stuck in my head on a weekly basis.

My start was a Game Boy Color with Pokemon. Before that, I played Mario Land 2 on a Game Boy at some friend's house, which is why I wanted a Game Boy in the first place.

Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins was an insanely ambitious game for a handheld. The jump in graphics from Super Mario Land to Super Mario Land 2 was enormous, it was basically a mini-Super Mario World clone that you could take on the go. I feel like a lot of people really take for granted just how big of a deal that game should have been back in the day.

I really need to play through that one again. I got it day one when it released on the 3DS VC because it will always be one of my favorite handheld Nintendo games.

Man, the Gamecube had so many great games. I really hope the Switch has a GC VC

My intro was the NES because my dad told my mom he was buying it for the kids in 89 (we were 3 and 2 at the time, lol) and he ended up playing it a ton. It came with the weird Nintendo Power Pad so I have fond memories of punching the hell out of it to beat my brother in the Stadium Events/World Class Track Meet game. From then on we pretty much owned every Nintendo console and weird accessory that went with them (the Light Boy was so dope).

My first Nintendo experience was probably in the uber-early 90s with the original NES. Mario w/ Duck Hunt and Zelda.

    Cursed by my ancestry

I'm 23. My introduction to Nintendo, and video games as a whole, was Pokemon Yellow and the special Pikachu Gameboy Color. Second game I got was Super Mario Deluxe. I think my mom played that one more than me haha.

28 here, dad had an NES which was my introduction to video games and Nintendo. Eventually I got my own Game Boy and that's when I really started to love video games and Nintendo stuff.

Other than Pokémon on my Gameboy pocket, my first real Nintendo console was the Gamecube which came with Double Dash and the Zelda collection which changed my life.

I've been resisting watching that official unboxing video all damn day. I want to experience the unboxing for the first time myself, but I also am just so hyped for the Switch that I'm having trouble helping myself.

    Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 9 dayssssssssss

I got a SNES when I was 6, and it was my sole console until I got the Gamecube for Christmas the year it launched (I was 11). So most of my childhood gaming memories are with the SNES and Gamecube. I had a Dreamcast somewhere in there too, but that's it until I got my 360 when I was 18.

My intro to Nintendo was the SNES. I remember playing super Mario world and Mario paint. Also Donkey King Country. I'm 24 now and was 5 when I first played the SNES
