Bravely Default has an interesting option where you can completely shut off random encounters, or turn up the frequency when you want to grind. I'd be down for more games having that

 

Like BotW is as open as can be and the length of the game varies wildly depending on the player. I certainly needed less time for it than for fucking TP. Not really JRPGs but you get the point.

Kinda disappointing that there is yet another Fire Emblem character in Smash, BUT
- All of them that arent Marth clones are fun to play AND
- Sakurai is just such a cutie I cant stay mad at him

How do folks rate Octopath round here? Would I dig it if I'm into final fantasy?

 

Huge FF fan (my fav series) and I LOVED Octopath. My only suggestion I give people are to pick just 4 characters and do their chapters rather than all 8. Obviously pick 4 that will round out your party good (just make sure to have a healer). If you do all 8 its still great just a tadddddd redundant.

Octopath is fantastic. Do all 8 chapters though because they are all great.

 

Only Vase and weirdos complaining about the lack of dungeons and green tunics

 

Because it's bad. Game is bad.
