I had to make some tough decisions about which games to get last year, it sucked. I will say that, despite enjoying Fallen Order, I wish I had spent that money on Three Houses instead.

 

I love Fallen Order and Three Houses is so much better of a game

I feel similarly about Three Houses and DQXI. Both were new entries in series that I already adored, but they still somehow exceeded my expectations.

 

I also still have Fates and Echoes that I never played. The fuckery surrounding the Fates Special Edition kind of turned me off from the series for a while. I have been getting the itch to get back into it though.

 

I still need to play DQXI or a Dragon Quest in general and just haven't, prob won't for a while

DQXI is the best one so if you're only going to play one make it DQXI

 

It's great but it's just another FE game except you teach students shit, whoopee

Three Houses was so good but so much of the core presentation was reworked from past games that i feel like a lot of the Halidom stuff could use a lot of refinement that we will def see in the next entry and as such i think the next one could surpass it

DQXIS is mastery of the JRPG formula and i cant imagine the next one topping it. i hate replaying most of even my favorite games but making my way back to where i left off in the PS4 version is just as enjoyable as my first go with it

 

I've played through DQXI twice now and I could honestly see myself playing it many more times over the years. It's JRPGs perfected.
