anyone know what’s the best deal on a 2DS XL right now? planning to buy one today, and probably a copy of Radiant Historia lol

this game is so good, love playing JRPGs on the 3DS

 

my second favorite game ever. I love that battle system, and the music is great.

decided to skip on the 2ds but i did buy physical copies of SMT: Strange Journey Redux and Radiant Historia 3DS. looking forward to playing both games again

i kinda like where my 3DS collection is at right now, a bunch of exclusives that will probably never get released again anywhere

Obligatory periodic Radiant Historia appreciation post. One of the best JRPGs of the decade, if not of all time.

 

I got one of those ergo Yok grip things for my Switch, handheld mode feels much better

 

Link’s Awakening on Switch was really good

 

Yeah 2 months for me too. Odyssey was pretty great.

 

Also were a couple boss fights in Odyssey I thought were the most interesting a Mario game has had in a long time

Those are what I always recommend to newcomers.

 

Also, I’ve been meaning to post this for the people that haven’t had a Switch since launch: do not sleep on Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It’s a very charming and very competent X-Com-like.

 

Or Luigi’s Mansion 3. The best switch game of 2019 imo

I haven't played 15 games in the 2 and a half years I've had the switch.

 

I liked Luigi's a lot but it's my least favourite of the 5 Switch exclusives I've played that were released last year, let alone overall

 

The only games I’ve completed on Switch since it’s launch are Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 deluxe, Mario Odyssey, Smash Bros, Link’s Awakening, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and DKC:TF. So 7 games.

 

I've finished like 4? Octopath (twice), BotW, Link's Awakening, Fire Emblem

 

I think I’ve only finished BotW and Mario Odyssey. And I’ve had the damn thing since launch.

 

I haven’t finished BotW and I’ve had it since launch...
