yeah I did some research ahead of time and the speakers seemed to be the biggest complaint, but I never saw anything about the battery being worse when compared to the new 3ds XL

it’s gotta be way better than my old 3ds, regardless, cuz I feel like that thing only gets about 3 hours on a full charge now

 

So I had a $15 target gift card and used my RedCard to pay for the system so I saved 5% off the listed price. Also, like being a teenager again, I took my change jar to a nearby coin star and got like $52 from that to deposit back into my account. That’s how I convinced my wife to be cool with it lol

 

Just completed my system transfer and still have my ambassador program releases (one of the things I was most nervous about potentially losing)!

The 3D is so much better on the “New” line of systems that I would personally recommend a New 3DS XL over all other models, because there are some games that are better in 3D, like 3D Land

It sounds like a weird but cool game. The story behind it is interesting. It was made by a Russian dude and his dad.

The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa is a free-form 2D brawler with a unique sense of melancholy

 

Worth it. Vase finds games very few other people seem to find lol

 

It's interesting for sure. The gameplay loop gets kinda repetitive once you know where to go but the story makes it worth a look. Just make sure you study hard because earning money is tied to test scores. The game explains literally nothing except basic combat.

A Switch Pro coming mid 2020 is not out of the blue and entirely expected.

 

a switch pro would definitely be reason for me to upgrade. i got mine at launch and have never complained, but i'd love a pro.

Their track record is not fine. They have reported on multiple Nintendo "leaks" that have all been completely bunk. Just going through the replies on that tweet will show you.
