RDR2 on Switch would be a disaster of hilarious proportions, i barely care about things like graphics and framerates and i straight up returned Witcher III because it looked so bad and that game was much less demanding. Rockstar wouldnt let their rep take that hit or fund the insane porting process that would require

 

The Witcher 3 functions but every step of the way you're reminded that its greatly compromised. the physics and lighting and such in RDR2 from what i have seen is leagues beyond what CDPR tried for. it feels like the game would have to be more remade than ported. the only thing i could think of is it being a port of whatever the lowest PC settings are, and i just dont see it

I mean it's RDR2 so it's not going to be good regardless

Children of Morta people: how far are you? didn't realize you could fatigue the chararcters lowering their base health until it regenerates.

 

I've made it though like 7 or 8 levels of Cuphead and just had to take a break. What an exhausting game haha. Though there isn't hardly anything I find cheap, it's really just being patient and trusting you'll get the patterns down. Such a well designed game.

 

Surely RDR2 is impossible on Switch, either that or it'll be a really shitty, heavily compromised port to quickly cash in on those sweet, sweet Switch dollars. Would have thought Rockstar would do GTAV first, though

 

There wasn't a single second Witcher 3 on switch bothered me, it's surprising to me how different of a view I have on graphics than other people, the game was perfectly playable IMO.

yeah I don't give a shit about graphics, I prefer gameplay over everything, including story

 

I'm excited for Witcher, I guess I understand if people have a better system to play it on but I haven't played a single thing on the other current gen systems, and anyways I feel like if I needed graphics first I wouldn't have been a Nintendo first guy all these years lol

I've looked up enough on it that it certainly seems well worth getting

 

I think it looks truly terrible in motion. i can do a low poly or lower texture style if it is by design, but this was so visibly a game not meant for the Switch that was triple dipped in blur just to get it to run. i dont want a lush fantasy world to look fuzzy and granular. i booted it up on my PS4 slim to compare and its such a dramatic difference, and that version is commonly 1/6 of the price.

ive never brought my Switch to poop and if im bringing it in there it's for a bite sized run of something like a Mario level not a fuckin 200 plus hour open world rpg

if yall dig Witcher on Switch more power to you and im jealous but it's the first game ive stopped playing because the level of compromise taken in my whole life lol

I am a quick pooper though now that I think about it, usually just go to the cell phone in there, rarely bring my switch in

 

the over the shoulder sections were also terrible to navigate in handheld mode with how much real estate Geralt takes up imo

 

Unlike RDR2 (*throws up in mouth*), GTA should work on Switch, because it worked on 360. It wouldn’t be the current version of GTAV though, so I’m not sure I see that happening either.

Maybe RDR1 will come to Switch lol

 

Always seems like people forget GTAV was on PS3/360. Of course it would run on Switch since it's more powerful than both of those.

 

Also give me any GTA on Switch over RDR2 lol
