I’m playing A Link to the Past since I never beat it as a kid and wow is it frustrating having to go through the dungeon again whenever you die fighting a boss

Is there any indication on some of the bigger games coming out in 2020? I know Animal Crossing, but outside of that no longer term releases. I know BOTW 2 is rumored.

 

There have been rumors of Metroid Prime Trilogy HD, HD Samus Returns, Bayonetta 3, and Mario Kart 9

 

Bayonetta 3 will 100% be next year

 

I would not be surprised if BotW2 is out next fall. Not saying I think it will be, but if it is I wouldn't be surprised. It will have been over 4 years since BotW came out and they used the same engine and assets to develop it. Seems like that turnaround is possible.

 

Nintendo likes to keep games close to the chest so who knows what else. This time last year we didn’t know about Link’s Awakening, Sword/Shield, Mario Maker 2 and Astral Chain.

 

We knew Sword/Shield were coming this year but we didn't know what they were called. They confirmed the new gen was launching in 2019 when they announced the Let's Go games.

 

Yeah it's not like Nintendo are suddenly going to have a quiet year after doing so well this year lol

 

My one fear of Breath of the Wild 2 is it being a short game. Also, how do you craft it so it doesn’t feel like DLC. Praying we get a Termina type alternate dimension thing.

 

I’m curious how they’ll handle Hyrule. We already explored all of it in BOTW and if it’s the same Hyrule then what will they add to the exploration

 

people were worried about 2019 after getting both Zelda and Mario in 2018 and look how stacked this year still was.

2020 will be just as good if not better.

 

pokemon is a yearly franchise now so next year we either get gen 4 remakes or a new version of gen 8. im hoping we get more info on smt v. oh also persona 5 switch, this time for real.

also cool that they added new snes games but still no dkc? whats the deal? is the rare thing? cause it was on snes mini.

The back catalog on switch is severely lacking. How it doesn’t have a virtual console is crazy. Or at least give me the option to purchase the 3ds ocarina and majora.

My fear is that it will come out. My other fear is that it will be like BOTW 1.
