What are some of the essential games?

no you just go to amazon dot com and buy eshop cards, like yes it's one extra step but you can save a lot of money this way.

 

Oh I did not know that works, I once tried to buy a Hulu code or something on Amazon.com and they wouldn’t sell it to users with a foreign adress

well duh my address is my buddy's old dorm in delaware, I don't even pay sales tax.

Tales of Vesperia is 50% off and I can't recommend it enough

Mario Odyssey I think is a must

 

Fire Emblem Three Houses is the best game on Switch don't @ me

 

Fire Emblem enthralled me for my first playthrough but has given me no desire to return. still 70 of the best hours on the system for sure.

 

It's my most played Switch game by far lol

Pokémon will probably take over at some point but fire emblem is definitely the better game to me, it just doesn't have online play

 

After the first run the monastery stuff turns from fun to grating
