I don’t know how much helpful this is but I’ve generally found them fun but only with other people because sometimes the levels can be super repetitive but it’s fun when you play with friends or family and can use all the characters they bring out in these LEGO games.

It was considered the moment that collectathon platformers jumped the shark. Many people thought it took collecting/backtracking to a detrimental extreme. I also loved the game, personally. Give me all the collectibles, there is no such thing as too many

all you playin Pokemon out there, how do i interact with a pokemon out in the water? there's a Gyarados swimmin around and i can whistle to get it to the shore but i can't actually run into/trigger a battle with it.
i just want a Gyarados dammit and i do NOT want to grind for 50 hours to evolve a Magikarp

 

You gain the ability to cycle on water fairly late game. Also magikarp would be fairly easy to evolve given exp share

 

Magikarp evolves at level 20 though.

i just looked through my boxes and realized i don't even HAVE any Magikarp. think the last time i encountered one i accidentally ko'd it, lol

 

Yeah Magikarp has never been easier to evolve than in this game lol. The days of putting one in first position and then immediately swapping it out are long gone.
