Depending on how save states work, I see myself taking it to work almost everyday and playing it in either handheld mode or with the kickstand on my lunch and breaks. I will probably spring for a second set of joycons before a pro controller.

 

Imo not likely at all.

So this is going to be a weird post but a friend of mine was selling his wii + 2 wiimotes + games with nunchucks incredibly cheap. Never had one so I caved in.

Spent way too much time playing wii sports. Good purchase haha

 

At least this is basically a handheld that just the controllers can be tinkered with, not like the 3ds where you had to get a whole new system just for the C-stick (which I never bothered to do)

 

If it's true that the Switch devkits are only 450USD I'll probably get one.

The ball count mini-game sounds crazy. I am still not 100% on how good HD rumble is.

 

The Giant Bomb video definitely made me want 1,2 Switch more but I am still not at all sold on it being a $50 title.

 

Idk, other than the HD rumble and graphics, these games don't make the system feel much more innovative than the Wii. Similar to Warioware Smooth Moves

 

Warioware Smooth Moves is one of the most entertaining games I've ever played so I'd love if I got similar feelings from this one

 

Oh absolutely, one of my favorite party games :). It actually took me forever just to find a preowned version.

I just would've expected them to demo more things that set it apart from an 11 year old game.

 

I only just found out that Snipperclips isn't a confirmed launch title. Could've sworn it was. Bummer.

 

I thought it was as well.

 

i have used so many orbs in trying to get ephraim in heroes, keep getting the same repeat heroes.

 

I spend a lot of time reading about Nintendo and retro video games despite not being a video game player and I don't know why

Hopefully this doesn't affect anyone who preordered. Considering Nintendo decided to once again artificially limit their supply, some poor fan might not get their console on launch day because of this.

 

You can't just make an endless stream of hardware because that'll lead to overhead costs that can very quickly be the end of you

 

I'm too hyped for this.

Don't know who recommended Radio Free Nintendo, but thanks. Pretty cool podcast. The Kutar bits in their latest episode is hilarious. I was thinking the same thing when I visited the eShop that week.

 

Looks like the 23rd is when the embargo lifts for the press (according to the Nintendo Force twitter account) so I imagine the hype train will be full steam ahead in a few days.
