it's incredible. played the FLAC loud on my home speakers yesterday and it sounds almost as good as The Fragile remaster. this is exactly what this album needed

Trent Reznor States Scoring Netflix's 'Bird Box' Was "a F*cking Waste of Time"

 

I remember listening to that score apart from the movie and wondering why I couldn’t recall any of it from watching the film.

 

I dont think I'll enjoy any of their scores nearly as much as the Social Network. Score is fantastic, but I think the movie being great and me seeing it a dozen times helps. Hoping they repress that one again since I sold my original pressing for a couple hundred bucks 3 years ago.

 

the watchmen score volumes are bananas

 

I think “Oraculum” from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is the best thing Trent and Atticus have ever scored together. “In Motion” from Social Network would be my second favorite.

As of fan of this band for 24 years now, it is so great to see Trent get some recognition. Amazing band still pushing the envelope. I never miss a NIN release or tour

 

Much deserved. Was just listening to Bad Witch again earlier - they're still making badass music.

How often does it happen that a band gets in and is still making relevant music?

 

fairly often, i would imagine. it's not like 25 years is an impossible benchmark to reach as a band

 

of the last decade of inductees, i would say, regardless of whether i like the music or not (and some of it i hate) the following have all made "relevant" music:
