forgot about the pre-sale :\ maybe I will try my luck closer to the date of the show this time around, my roommate decided to tag along last minute to the Raleigh show and managed to get better seats than I did for much cheaper day of. I also kinda want to see if the setlist is switched up at all for this leg or if it remains mostly the same, won’t feel as bad about missing it if it’s pretty similar.
Some markets it’s definitely easier to get a ticket it seems but I got in right when they queue opened for Austin and got told I was 63,000th in line lol. So I’ll get a ticket the day before or something.
Yeah I’m kind of curious as to how the Anaheim sale will go today. I’m hoping it’s a bit easier than the LA one was earlier this year. I’m optimistically hoping it’ll be easier since I’m sure LA people won’t wanna go down to Anaheim on a weeknight. Plus, San Diego has a date too, which will diverge the crowds
I got tickets! This will be my first arena show, and first time seeing NIN since the Wave Goodbye shows in 2009. Yeah, I'm excited.
Lol, I went to check tickets and there were quite a bit left when I got in so I got a ticket for $184. checked Boston and there’s a lot left too.
Cool interview with Consequence Of Sound about the Peel It Back tour. CoS named them Live Act Of The Year Live Act of the Year Nine Inch Nails Redefined the Arena Show in 2025
at the bottom of the interview they confirm they're currently working on new material, and prioritizing it above other projects
incredible news. on that note, I know it’s probably likely they will move in a different direction altogether, but I am not gonna lie I would love for them to continue in the vein of Bad Witch.
No idea what to expect from an actual proper follow-up to the trilogy and the first canonical NIN record in what, eight, nine years? I'm here for absolutely anything they can throw at us at this point.
definitely open to anything, would be just as excited for them to do something completely different from anything else. I just really fucked with the grimy, jazzy vibes of BW a lot, and LOVED the addition of the sax to the sound palette. the only NIN records that I’m not a huge fan of are PHM and HM.
I also keep forgetting there’s a second leg of the tour happening next year and I’ll be at the Anaheim show lol. That’s gonna rock
just PHM for me. HM was my first NIN record and i still really love it all these years later, despite how different it sounds from the rest of their work
That's really interesting to hear, I've been a "big" fan since right before the fragile and I love hesitation marks a ton: Seriously, not just Trent but NIN is the fucking greatest. Been lucky to see them a bunch of times and it's always life altering
haven't really dug an NIN album from front to back since Year Zero but I'm always down to be surprised. mainly I just hope they bring back the remix album for this cycle - a lot of my NIN faves are remixes.
I personally would take PHM between the two tbh. HM kinda deflated my love for NIN for a while. I can appreciate it more now, and there are a couple songs I have always liked, but I just don’t really care for the overall direction they went in with it.
my only big problem with HM is the lyricism/cadence of Trent's vocals sounding a bit samesy between songs. have no problems with the production. was a big HTDA fan too, so i like when he explores a more insular/electronic-sounding production style.
I loved HM when it came out, but I think it was solely because I was overly excited for new NIN and it was the first new music from them after I became a fan. I don’t really revisit it that often. I still think it’s a great, solid album but not my fave. I kind of think of it as like an updated PHM.
