Can not believe my dumb luck that the first time I ever see NIN is the first time they played this song live!

I’m here to say fuck off and that I hope they play this in Dallas. You are so damn lucky.

    How was the show overall?

    Lol, thanks!

Like I said, this was my first time seeing them, but the production, lighting, sound was as good as I expected. I was surprised by how distinctive and energetic each song sounded in a live environment (even the slow ones), as I personally feel their recordings can sometimes blend together. I also was surprised how often my attention ended up turning to the monitor instead of the stage - they got a hella good cinematographer to shoot their show!

Also, not for nothing, but seeing it at a location as beautiful as the Red Rocks definitely contributed a lot!

I certainly hope you get to see that song, too - it sounded great! But that said, it seems like their dropping a lot of cool exclusives and firsts into their setlists across this tour. The inaugural date opened with them playing Broken front to back!

They’re apparently streaming the show tonight, so you might wanna check that out!

Do you have a link for the stream tonight? Don't see anything on social media!?

I still watch that Madrid stream on the daily.

Had no idea that song had never been played live before. One of my favorite NIN tunes, hope they bring it out in Chicago

Huh, I made a Facebook post about “The Perfect Drug” thing a little earlier and when I was tagging my location it mentioned that there was a streaming event tonight. But I’m trying to look it up and can’t seem to find it, either.

    Sorry!

Shout out to The Jesus and Mary Chain as well, they were surprisingly good! Special mention to the ex-Special Forces guy who spent the whole concert dancing a few feet away from me in his beret and sunglasses and looked serious as fuck doing it!

    Are you going again tonight?

Naw, just the one - it’s all I could afford! Although I didn’t know NIN would be varying up their sets as much as they have...

I’ll be finding out what else they’ll be playing with the rest of y’all! Enjoy your shows, everyone!

Tobacco was fucking nuts too. The visuals they had were bizzare

Tobacco was the opener for NIN when I saw them last year. Their visuals made me so uncomfortable lmao

Opening their Chicago Night 2 encore with “Help Me I’m In Hell” into “Happiness In Slavery” was sublime.

Last night was absolutely bonkers, jesus. Somewhat Damaged is one of the greatest set openers of all time

Ugh these setlists have been so good. I’m incredibly tempted to splurge and pay $100+ for a scalper ticket for one of their Hollywood Palladium shows

Trent said they aren't going anywhere, despite what everyone thinks this tour means!

Yeah, I recall reading an interview with Trent that NIN were gonna have a more frequent (but less busy) touring schedule, and try to break from their usual “tour nonstop for two years/take a few years off” system they usually run on

Regardless, I’d still wanna go. They’re one of my favorite bands of all time, and Trent is basically a god to me. If I paid $125 to see them at FYF last year, then I might as well do it again this time around...

The talent Trent has around him onstage is just astounding. I was blown away at Riot Fest last year, but Friday's Chicago show just took it to another level. Ilan Rubin is one of my favorite current drummers, then at the start of the encore with "Help Me, I'm In Hell" - motherfucker is playing cello! Positively blown away.

Saturday was incredible. I love how he threw in what fans wanted: deeper cuts. I went in wanting "Perfect Drug" and "Last". I got both!

Highlights for Friday, for me were: the jam session/drum solo during "Piggy" and "Help Me I'm In Hell" into "Happiness In Slavery" during the encore. just MASSIVE.

I’m going to both days in Dallas and I’m hoping for The Perfrct Drug at least one of those days.
