This is great. She’s been one of those artists that has had a constant presence in my playlists,but I’m glad to finally have a full album. Hope she does a big tour, her show at SXSW was great a few years ago (or maybe last year?)

If you’re new to her music may I also recommend “Small crimes” - still my favorite song of hers.

 

One of the best albums I’ve heard this year

This is album of the life.

 

Went to go check her touring schedule to see when she had gaps and might finally coming to North America for headlining dates and it guess she announced seven dates on Friday. Hyped to see her the day before my birthday.

 

I think heavyweight champion is the best song I’ve ever heard

 

Melt reminds me so much of Chairlift

 

I keep coming back to this and it gets better every time

Safety Net is my go to song these days, it may have taken over Golden Cage as my favorite song of hers. I'm surprised this album didn't make a bigger impact yet.

 

Safety Net and Melt are both amazing, but Heavyweight is my favorite. I had the album on at work the other day and when Heavyweight came on I told my colleague to change the music because otherwise I was just going to play that song over and over again, and I meant it.

 

Honestly, I think this is one of the best albums of the past two years, and it’s the first album in a long time that I’ve gotten multiple people hooked on.

 

“In Your Head” is phenomenal but so far it’s the only song to hook me yet

 

I’ve been going back to this again the last week or so. It’s just incredible, maybe the most impressive debut record in recent memory. I can just play “Safety Net” over and over.

I’m so excited to see her headline next month.

 

Not that she doesn’t sound good on the album, but wow her voice is arresting live. Anyway this show was super great and made me feel very good. Excited for you and your date coming up, @username ; what size venue is it at up there?

 

About 400 cap. It’s actually not an ideal space (bad sight lines and a bunch of fixed tables/benches near the centre-back) but I’ve seen some incredible shows there. I’m kind of surprised it hasn’t sold out.

I saw her opening set on the Fleet Foxes tour last and her voice was incredible. So excited to see her play a full set with a new bunch of tracks!

Feel like people that like this album will dig this track. Toronto artist and only her second single but she's already got me very excited.

 

all aboard; these two songs are tantalizing

 

Hell yeah. I’ve been playing this new one on repeat the last few days. The most exciting debut singles I’ve heard in recent memory imo.
