Thanks, I've been waiting for this for a while. It feels like this album should be on pink vinyl, but that blue is very nice also. Use code TENPERCENT to save a secret amount off your order.
I'm still so glad I have the old pressing with the Bang EP, it's so pretty. Glad people are finally able to get their hands on more of this. Also, NOY posted something for the 20th anniversary that said "we never broke up" and Brandon had a photo of him in a studio in another post. Granted, he does a lot of recording for a lot of other music but I can dream that eventually we'll get at least a new song. His EP was so good I would just really love to see like three new songs from NOY in the future.
They are going to have limited edition "When The Flowers Grow" custom candles at their shows in CT, NJ and NY to celebrate their 20th anniversary of self titled. It is a soy wax candle and it smells of geranium, mandarin, cedar and rose. The candles are made by Shear Revival.
Concert was killer. Everyone was incredibly nice. It wasn't a huge turnout but people drove from all over and they were passionate. Played all of the debut album and some of their Bang EP. Sounded great. The music felt timeless.
Nope. They didn't mention anything either. I wouldn't be surprised either way. They seemed to really love playing the songs again and are having a lot of fun together. I think I saw a photo of Brandon in a studio on an Instagram story a few weeks back but I have no idea if that's related or not.
I recently switched to Qobuz for music and was thrilled to see Brandon Reilly's Up the River EP on there. I've listened to it a bunch of times the last few days. Especially "Christopher Street".
Brandon has been doing a lot of solo shows and has a tour hitting the East Coast where he will be playing acoustic versions of NOY. So if you're in Boston, Brooklyn, Baltimore, Albany, Hamden, Asbury Park or Philadelphia look to see what the shows are for him and I Am The Avalanche. In what I would consider even more exciting news is that he just posted a story on Instagram that is a picture of a DAW open and him working on a song. Fingers crossed it's new Nightmare of You.
