Really like this one. Huge 1975 influences again. The last one actually grew on me quite a bit as well.

 

Yeah I love this, the single before this is growing too. This kinda sounds like “The Movies” mixed with “Somebody Else”, I heard a band that sounded exactly like the 1975 to the point where the vocal inflection and mixing were exactly like Matty Lite but the music was nowhere near as tight/polished as this, I think the vocals here are what can really set them apart, just wish there was a bit more growth lyrically

 

I dig it

 

Last two have been good - this is weak as hell

 

Eh not judging this one too much - a couple years old and mostly put out to satisfy people asking for it it seems like

 

Tis alright. Like the music. Chorus is a bit lazy.

Seems like this is the first of 2 albums this year based on some stuff they’ve been posting about still writing/recording & a comment back to someone complaining about half the songs being released already of “we’ll make it up to you this year”

I like the aesthetic, title, and the songs have been okay so far. I still wish they had a bit more teeth in the tunes (a la miss you like hell)

I go back and forth on if I like these guys.

Great new song but sometimes their music feels too polished and curated, and as much as I love the vibe, it's just young people music and I am far from a young person these days. I'm drawn to them as it's very much a 1975 vibe but the lyrics are hard for me to relate to on a lot of the songs.

But yea, this new song is a good one. Like the syncopated guitar and the melody a lot.

 

Sound is great. Vibe is great. But I agree - the lyrics. And also, I don’t love the vocal in the chorus.

 

This is fine- decent ep of songs here - mostly what’s been released.
