Held off on listening to part one (except Arrival) so I’m giving this album my first full listen and that heavy section toward the end of Bound To You fucking RULED

Really liked this but the vocalist features actually took me out of those two tracks - hope that changes. If not, I still absolutely love the rest of the record. Glad to have the whole thing now!

Been a fan of this channel for a while and Aric just got invited for a one hour episode in which he goes in depth about his creative process and plays a bunch of Night Verses songs as well. Dude is going ham as always... I feel bad for his drum kits lol

 

Yo they just announced an European + UK headlining tour and they're coming to Luxembourg in September!! Can't believe I finally have the chance to see them after more than a decade, I'm so hyped.

 

Seeing them tonight! Feels surreal after so long. I suddenly remember how I found about them, by clicking on random ap.net news back when they had put out demos as The Sound Archives and were looking for a new singer.

 

There’s still a riff from one of those Sound Archives songs that lives rent free in my head

 

This is the song that introduced me to the band. Sadly their original vocalist who’s on this track, Marco, passed in 2015. RIP.

 

They tore it up, goddamn. I don't know how they perform any of their stuff so cleanly. Loved when Nick played a tuned down, 8 string version of Aska as a segue into the next song. At some point, they also played a jam which I assume was them testing out new ideas. Curious to find out if it'll end up on a future release, it sounded so sick.

Also starting to believe Aric has unlimited amount of stamina

 

DVNE were sick as well. Got into them early this year so it was a nice surprise to have them and Night Verses team up for a tour. Such a great pairing.
