pretty cool PATD's impressionable audience is going to get to see a female bass player rocking the hell out!
This is pretty sweet. I had never heard of her before, but after looking at her bio it's very apparent she's more than capable of the job.
Nice! Wish that they would goto more a synth-y bass sound for their shows though, it'd give it a fuller sound like on the record, especially the last 2 albums.
That's awesome, where else has she been featured? I've never heard of her before so I'm curious about her background.
Music needs more kick ass female bass players a la Cat Popper, Nik West, etc. I agree it's awesome that younger female fans will be able to watch her do her thing and potentially be inspired to pick up a bass (on any instrument for that matter).
This was in the Bio on her website which is: nicolerow "The epitome of a true, hard working musician, Nicole Row has earned her keep as a talented bassist and vocalist for artists and groups of many genres. Having performed countless hours touring internationally, playing locally, as well as session work, Row understands the dedication required to put on a stellar performance in any musical context. The ability to hold down an upright, rock a synthesizer and sing leads as well as harmonies has given Nicole the opportunity to perform with many groups. As a current artist of Fender guitars and Eich amps, Nicole is backed up by 4 and 5 string jazz and precision basses and a beefy rig. Nicole has shared the stage alongside a variety of talents such as Miley Cyrus, Troye Sivan, Billy Ray Cyrus, Noah Cyrus, Daya, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Ty Dollar Sign, Lonnie Jordan, Chris Cab, Dallas Austin, Diamond, as well as many others. Row has also been a working musician in vegas casinos for several years singing lead/harmonies and playing bass all the while keeping the audience fully engaged with her infectious stage presence. Having performed on a plethora of stages, tours, and television performances such as SNL, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, The Voice, Billboard Awards, IHeart, The Aria Awards, the Oxygen series Sisterhood of Hiphop, and an endless list of stages and venues, makes her one of L.A.'s premiere and highly sought out bassists today. Nicole is most currently seen on stage promoting the newest tunes of Miley Cyrus, with plenty more on the horizon."
Welp, that's a pretty stellar resume haha good on her for landing this gig and good on Panic for being able to get her on-board.
