Ugh another 19 track album - this is my least favorite trend in hip hop

 

Looks like one is an interlude and one is an outtro so could be shorter tracks. I still have high hopes for this despite being pretty disappointed with her alignment with 69.

Ughhh, another 70 minute, 19 track hip hop album. This is gonna be a chore.

Majesty is a pretty terrible song but Em's flow is amazing on it.

 

Mostly bad, an EP’s worth of decent material. She seems desperate now that Cardi B is stealing the crown.

“Bed” is still a jam though.

That being said outside some cringe ass lines I'm enjoying this so far unfortunately

Chun Swae is weird but I think I like it

 

I didn't even realize this is a week ahead of the new new release date, so it's out early, but still late, at least not on Sweetener day anymore

 

I tried to get through it but stopped at Chun Swae. Any tracks in that 2nd half worth listening to???

 

I liked Nip Tuck and Good Form.

 

Upon first listen, I really like Majesty, Barbie Dreams, and Hard White. The rest of the album is not that bad either, though I didn't like Chun Swae and Come See About Me much. Definitely need to spin this more though.

Still a little bitter over no Barbie Tingz though. Also apparently the song she was gonna hold the album a week for isn't gonna be on the album anyway?

 

The amount of articles portraying Barbie Dreams as a diss track proves that a lot of people that write about hip hop shouldn’t actually. She shouts out Biggie in the intro for God’s sake.

 

I hope the DJ Khaled lines are legit though because that shit rightfully deserves to be called out
