I know the Eagles reportedly had interest in trading for Slay by the trade deadline, but I’m hoping they don’t trade for him this offseason. I would rather see them go for Byron Jones in free agency and save their draft picks to take as many shots as they can to get young talent to develop on the team.

Howie made it a point in his postseason presser to mention the need they have for youth and how they have more draft picks this year than they’ve had in a while so I don’t see them trading any sort of major draft capital prior to the draft.

2. Restructure Calais and Bouye
3. Sign Yannick
4. Give Norwell one more chance

Im honestly not sure who would take on his deal; its still 2/$21 for a guy who cant stay healthy and coming off lisfranc surgery at 30+. If he'll take less money or something, then I could see him being a classic Pats signing.

 

I can't tell you how many Eagles fans and writers keep saying the Eagles should just cut Alshon because of the comments he probably made and it's fucking infuriating to listen to multiple times every single week.

Cutting him would be a $26.1M cap hit. Only way he's not back is if the Eagles find a trade partner for a 30 year old WR who is declining while on a bloated contract and is dealing with a lisfranc injury that he might not be ready for the start of the season because of. If a team wants to take that kind of player, there's no way the Eagles get anything more than a sixth or seventh round pick.

I literally paused it around 3:30 in the third quarter and said to matt Bradley Anae has won multiple times because he has terrific hands (hand combat) and that he seems to be the one finishing even though Josh Uche was getting there first.

I pressed play and they immediately did a breakdown of Bradley Anae and I’m pretty sure he said “terrific hands” and “great finisher” verbatim as the only two descriptive terms.
