And I think you could argue that Brady could have three Hall of Fame careers if you cut it up, lol

Yeah the only thing Brady would have available to solidify is his status as a GOAT in reference to other sports athlete's GOAT statuses like Gretzky

    The rivalry is back on

He’s the greatest to ever deflate his footballs

  6. Verizon has started reducing my 4g speed because I went over my data. Those fucks.

  7. I truly think that Brady will be back in NE this season. I’m of the thought that to win a Super Bowl you really do need an elite QB.

Some Pats fans (BB fan boys) think they can win without Brady but 08 provided that they really can’t. That roster had just gone 16-0 with Brady and then failed to make the playoffs without him the next year.

Mahomes, Watson, Jackson - they are the new class. You’re not knocking them off with the Red Rifle or Old Man Rivers.

  8. They went 11-5 with Matt Cassel and missed out on the playoffs due to tiebreakers I believe. Not bad if you ask me.

    (:

They do that? I only get charged if I go over.

  10. Not bad but I would think it very unlikely they can do better without Brady (or a comparable QB under center).

The Pats are in for a rebuild - I’m just gonna have to get used to being the fan of an average team again. Glad to see more parity in the league moving forward.

  11. Must be a new thing because I've gone over a lot and this is the first time they've slowed my speed. It's my wife using all the data. I just upgraded to unlimited. It's ultimately cheaper because we go over 1-2 gigs every month and it's $15 per gig.

the Titans traded for a slightly above average QB in Tannehill and they nearly went to the Super Bowl

sometimes a change of scenery helps.

Not saying NE is definitely still a great team if they had Dalton (or someone similar) but I am not discounting Belichick

  13. Brady was fine in 2019 but wasn't lighting the world on fire. They can't win with just him anymore they need a lot more help imo.

You don’t need an elite quarterback but it makes it “easier” than if you don’t

  15. But thats my point... they were shut right down against a legit team. Tannehill wasn’t going to win that game. Plus the Pats have nothing to offer like Henry.

If the Titans had a legit QB I think they could’ve pulled it off - Tannehill is not a big time guy. He’s solid no doubt but I’m not trusting him when times running out in the 4th.

  16. I dunno ... look at the last 20 years of Super Bowls. With very few exceptions, every winner had a legitimate elite QB. And if they didn’t have a career elite guy - they at least had a QB who lit it up in the playoffs (looking at you Eli and Flacco).

Probably the only exceptions are Tampa Bay and the Ravens in 2000.

  17. All in all I’m just bitching because I don’t want Brady to leave NE haha.

Sure but look at all the teams who have had an elite quarterback year in and year out and they “only” have one ring. Brees, Rodgers, Manning most his career, etc...

Again, having an elite quarterback is amazing to have but they’re not necessary

  19. I don't know what the pats cap situation is but can they afford to give Brady a big 2 year deal and still fill their other holes? He's fucking old and you can't spread his contract out over a bunch of years anymore.

Russell Wilson wasn't playing elite yet when they won in 2013 and Peyton Manning was far from elite (or even a top 10 QB) when they won in 2015

Those are 2 pretty recent scenarios

Also New England is that team everyone complained about getting cheap free agents to fill holes and play at a high level which makes them very well rounded and able to contend without TB. They won't get automatically written in like they used to...but they'll play some good football

It’s not great. We can def afford Brady but the idea of doing like Brady, Hunter Henry, AJ Green and Thuney that gets floated around is a pipe dream.

You dont need an elite QB. You just need to not overpay an overrated QB.
