My brother introduced me to them with A Glass Can Only Spill What It Contains...didnt even know something in the scene could sound like that with lyrics at that level. One of my college film projects was piecing together the colored spider tracks.

If you could go to my audioscrobbler from 2005-2006, it was the absolute best period. I'd bounce from Emery to Band of Horses, mwY to GAD and Moneen...felt like the time where a lot of the stuff I loved really honed their sound. I think 2005 is the Warped Tour I went to and got to see a bunch of them live for the first time too.

 

Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band are the best live show I’ve ever seen. Seen them 4 times. Saw Green Day on the American Idiot tour and they were unbelievable.

Breath of the Wild is so good but every time I boot up my switch I just go back to Stardew Valley

 

Stardew is a little too grindy for me (he says as he goes fishing for Staminoka Bass to max rupees)...but I played that a BUNCH this fall when I was working remotely from my buddies cabin. Stardew is how I can make 4hrs of my life disappear and yet its still the same month in the game.

 

MUTEMATH might be my favorite live band.

Jaded is probably my favorite Green Day song.

 

I love that Untitled is pretty much their heaviest record since A > B. MewithoutYou does a great job with post hardcore. I def don’t think they’re limited to their usual quirky / poetic indie rock.

 

Also if y’all are into smaller bands. Check out Church Girls from Philly. Rad female fronted post punk

Blvd of Misery and September do nothing for me. Holiday is kinda fun. American Idiot is great. But my favorite songs are primarily the rest of the album haha
