oooooof nope. Too many needs for that. Even the 3rd is painful to offer.

Best I could offer is like a third and a young rotational player like Duwane Smoot or Keelan Cole but i doubt that even moves the needle a little bit haha. We lack too much depth to trade starters away unless you'd take another big contract guy (Andrew Norwell)

 

@xbrokendownx for the record, the Osweiller trade did send a second round pick, but

1) it was for the following year, not that year
2) they got a fourth round pick back THAT year

considering Foles is better than Osweiller and has a better resume, I think a third round pick is perfectly fair value. 3rd round pick is barely even a worse offer than getting a next-year 2nd and giving back a 4th.

Though the move wouldn't make sense at all if you still have Fitz haha.

 

Foles also makes nearly twice as much as Osweiler did but fair enough

and yes Fitzpatrick is under contract for 2020 at $8 million which is a steal

 

Yeah I saw that... but if you account for rapid salary cap inflation since then, Foles probably only makes a few million more than Osweiller would've this year.

The interview went as well as I could’ve expected. There are still two more rounds of interviews so hopefully I get to round 3.

 

Not prepared to argue but never forget Nick freaking Foles torched Belichick’s defense for 373 yards 3tds AND caught a touchdown, with his int actually being a drop. Oh yeah and he did all that with Tom Brady at his heels the whole time throwing for 500 yards.

The TE class seems all over the place. Is it really as weak as it seems?

If you ignore the fact that there’s no RD1 locks in this class, I think it’s decently deep.

 

I think Thad Moss should not be associated with his dad at all. He didn’t get any of his “special” burst & athleticism. Dude can definitely catch but his athleticism looks average and his run blocking isn’t good enough to make up for it

He’s a solid mid round option but I ain’t taking him before the middle of round 3.

He looks like a pulling guard out there when they used him on folds. Dude is a like a Mack truck at the second level.
