PSA: urgent care centers are a lot cheaper and generally have shorter wait times than emergency rooms

Obviously there are situations where you need more specialized care, and it would be much better if you could just go to the nearest treatment facility and get taken care of, but urgent care can handle a lot of situations

 

I had traffic court this morning.

 

A childhood friend of mine's daughter had leukemia when she was a baby. He would often times post the hospital bills they received. For a 2 day hospital stay, MRI/CT Scan, etc. it was upwards of $80k.

Thankfully, his insurance covered most of it but yeah the costs are outrageous

 

This was just one day of chemo. I had 21 total. #M4A lol

 

on a lighter note, I made burgers last night for dinner and I brought one for lunch today

We are apparently out of ketchup at work and I can't find a packet anywhere

my day is ruined

 

It's been a tough year

I believe Ekeler is RFA though so it all depends what tender they put on him

Super weird moment. So I asked for a raise like a month ago, got denied last week and was told we'd revisit it in April. Today my boss asked me what number I was looking for again, went to HR, and then just came back like nothing happened and didn't mention anything else about it. Suuuuuuper weird.

 

Seems like a good sign
