Hmm. So we adopted them out of foster care. So we didn’t pay anything for them. (You actually receive a per Diem if your kid qualifies, which ours all did).

so there’s not a receipt. But you get new birth certificate with our names on them which is cool. Especially since my wife and I are white but we have birth certificate with our names on them for two black kids.
