I agree you don’t need to postpone or cancel anything now - you gotta take this every two weeks - but trends show that it’s probably gonna get delayed at best especially if the virus boomerangs in the fall

I just don’t think any mass gatherings are gonna happen the rest of the year - sports concerts movies

he’s pushed this idea a few times and a few times I’ve pushed back saying it’s a bad idea so he just got fed up because he wants everyone to think he’s this crazy smart, cutting edge influencer.

 

I personally like the idea of football games being played in empty stadiums this year. And instead of hiring crews to handle the people in the stands, hire crew to sanitize & clean the locker rooms & staff boxes.

It would also offer an opportunity to try out different pricing packages. Like. You either get your team for $9.95 a month or you get all the games in real time online for $39.95 a month or some shit. That could make up for ticket sales being lost, while also making NFL games more accessible on TV for people who want to watch outside of their home market.

I already pay $25/month for Game Rewind, and would easily pay more to get the games in real time and be able to swap through them / watch two at once without paying for a cable contract.

 

Eh, I don’t think it’s smart. Just my two cents, I want everyone locked in their homes. Gimme the China measures on bagel. Lock. Everyone. In.

 

I’ve been prepared for a lock in for weeks lol but it isn’t happening.

Idk though I still go ride my bike once every 3 days. I just completely avoid the Beltline / any crowded areas and go find somewhere I won’t be even 600 feet next to someone. That’s all I’ve done, stayed in my apt otherwise

 

I have a final class presentation on draft day, so you best believe I will be parked in front of a TV watching the draft while everyone besides me is presenting

someone may have said this (I’m a few pages behind) but the books aren’t done yet. There are still two more to be written (3 when the show started) so I’m assuming HBO thought Martin (the writer) would finish the books by the time the show got to those points - but that would be ballsy because each book took seemingly twice as long as the last to come out (book 5 came out while the show was on and it took 8 years I think since book 4 was released).

so the writers / showrunners literally didn’t know how the show would end because their source material had no end

 

Just now remembering a handful of Chiefs fans on YouTube who burned their jerseys and memorabilia after the kneeling fiasco (and all other teams fans too) and said they’d never be a fan again until they apologized... I wonder how much Super Bowl memorabilia they bought....
