    (:

I'm not entirely sold on Washington being that bad this year.

Oh so you are aware we do a mock draft. Have you picked your teams?

A rookie TE and a mid round receiver compared to what other teams have done....

the Jets have absolutely no one at corner or WR

they are going to be bad IMO

We wouldn’t need to rely on that on offense. Those players would be competing for supporting roles. Which increases your chances of one of them emerging as a decent starter.

Chark / Westbrook already lead our WR room, Fournette already leads our RB room, & we have several other “project” tight ends. No one would be forced into a role they aren’t ready for.

I seem to recall the Eagles drafting JJ Arcega-Whiteside and people thinking he would improve the offense and, yet, he did not. Same can be said for the Colts and Parris Campbell. Or the Jaguars when they drafted DJ Chark.

It’s almost like sometimes rookies make little to no impact in year one

Like, relying on Justin Jefferson as your WR1 is stupid.

Having him come in as your WR4 and start from there though? That only improves your offense.

Oh so we ARE investing high in offense?

That was just an example dude chill lol. Although I never said we “won’t” I said we “don’t have to”

Randall has been in here for weeks pounding the table for Derrick Brown at ninth overall while Dave Caldwell just sits there relying on day two/three rookies to make Gardner Minshew better

True, we don't have to. But then the argument still stands that we are a bottom tier offense.

Like, if you want to see if Minshew can really be the guy for your franchise or not, give him better than DJ Chark and a bunch of clowns

It’s also almost like sometimes they do haha. You can’t just pick the exampes that support your point. All I’m claiming is that competition increases your chances of finding more quality contributors, which is true.

Oh I mean, Derrick Brown is a win/win pick. Hes an elite prospect that will do absolutely nothing to help them keep their job and hopefully result in a long needed regime change

We are literally not a bottom tier offense lol what

You’re the one who keeps coming in here saying “Cole Kmet and Tyler Johnson will help our offense” when it is so clear that it’s not a given

Can’t be a bottom tier offense when Leonard Fournette is pass blocking his team to greatness

MJD has Burreaux as the 3rd QB off the board. How is he employed.

Then how is it a given that anything other teams do is going to improve their offense? I’m not seeing the big difference between the Jags chances of improving through the draft and the Chargers. If anything the Jags stand a better chance at getting day one help cause we have more picks.

What happens first Randall picks his teams or the Jags win their 5th game of the year.

I’m comparing apples to apples here. You said those teams are likely to address their offense in the draft, Im saying Jags are just as likely to try to improve through the draft... with more draft ammo.

Having more shots to take in the draft is a good thing, but if you’re plan to help your second-year QB develop is to take shots in the draft rather than on proven talent in free agency, then you have a problem

LAC also already has a great offense

It’s almost like drafting a QB is going to dramatically affect an offense as opposed to drafting literal my any other position, which is why I specifically mentioned the Bengals, Dolphins, and Chargers
