I think y’all seriously underestimate Minshew and the improvement of the Jaguars offense. That whole storyline was overshadowed by the collapse of the defense and Coughlin’s callous / racist treatment of players

Buddy, the Dolphins finished 5-11 and are picking fifth overall.

The Jaguars finished one game ahead of them. They won one meaningless game against the Raiders when they could have picked sixth overall and you’re gonna sit here and tell us they’re gonna finish better than 5-11 when their roster has gotten worse.

 

If we were bad enough to pick top 5 we would’ve picked top 5 this year already. That whole offense was young and inexperienced last year, the defense had already collapsed and lost all its swagger / morale, and Minshew still went 6-6

 

You’re picking 9th now. Picking 5 isn’t crazy considering: your defense got worse, Minshew could regress, it’s a mircacle Fournette didn’t get hurt can he stay healthy, does the team quit on a staff that has clearly hurt their rep?

 

The team already quit on the staff last year. We’ve moved onto a fresh slate. Why do you think we traded several veterans?

Minshew “could” regress and Fournette “could” get hurt but I can project negatives to any team and say they’ll do worse

My guy, most of that offense has been around for 3+ years now, has it not? Minshew, Chark, and Taylor are the only starters that had been in the league for only one or two years, right?

 

There’s other bad teams in the league we can beat by simply scoring more points

 

It’s okay to admit that their wide receivers suck outside of DJ Chark

Dede Westbrook actually doesn’t suck. I hate him but he doesn’t suck.

 

I’d argue the Giants have a better offense than the Jags do and also have a bad defense. They just finished 4-12
