How many of his throws were VERY interceptable though? When I watched him I saw a ton of throws that probably should've been picks. There's reason to be excited but top 10 feels like a MASSIVE stretch

I wasn't saying he'd be a top 10 BPA. I said he'd have been picked in the top 10. Because he's a quarterback and he has traits that are hard to find from college quarterbacks.

There is MUCH more reason to expect Daniel Jones to end up good. The Maras being the big argument otherwise. Daniel Jones showed a lot more to justify being picked top 10 and even that was criticized like crazy.

 

He'd have gone over Haskins or Lock.

I'm not off the hype wagon. I don't think it's controversial at all to say Minshew showed in his rookie season he's the second best QB in the class behind Kyler

 

I have no reason to back this up, but if QBs were a stock market i'd be buying loads of Haskin stock. I still like him.

 

I still like Daniel Jones but I'd rather have Minshew right now.

 

He showed he's the 2nd best in the class as of right this second

He has NOT shown through his play that he is the 2nd best prospect out of the QB prospects

 

DJ still wouldve gone to NYG. They were locked in on him.

I liked him but idk. I'd keep my eye on the market before buying Haskins stock.

 

Minshew literally has a lot of the traits they drafted Daniel Jones for. We can nitpick about the David Cutcliffe connection all we want but the point is Minshew is the kind of quarterback teams draft in the top 10 - provided they knew he had that talent. He went under the radar cause he played for a smaller Air Raid school.

 

Haskins has potential and Washington has the ability to turn things around...but yeah I very very firmly have Minshew above Haskins now and for the future

 

I feel like if Haskins was on an NFL football team he'd have a lot more Year 2 hype.

 

Drew Lock is surprising me. But I think I have Minshew over him, we'll see

Minshew is a slower Daniel Jones who also throws less interceptions

I really really hate when you do this to me and you do it a lot, you kinda ignore one specific point and pretend it was never made

 

Who also had weapons and a better OL

 

He'd hit those sideline throws amazingly but also at times he'd make throws where Chark had to make massive adjustments to catch the ball and/or prevent a pick. There were a lot of circus catches this past year which is why I also expect him to have those Romo like games where he throws 5 picks
