Yeah, but that's another nudge with him. Part of his beef is "I know I can do it without Bill." So that's honestly encouraging. Plus, I'm sure wherever he goes he'll have a say in what the offense looks like.

 

Brady isn't as bad as this season made him look. They lost Gronk and didn't replace him. No WRs. OL badly injured all season. Now, going to the cursed Chargers he'll probably be behind another injured OL. But on paper Chargers have all the pieces tot make him great again (yes, that was on purpose).

I certainly don't think he is bad but he isn't great anymore. He doesn't have the arm strength to make throws he used to make and his decision making wasn't the greatest last season

 

I think Brady is more likely to eventually be a minority owner of the Chargers someday than he is to play for them

But I mean both are possible? I'm just gonna choose to be wrong if he does play for them and choose to believe he's never playing for anyone but the Patriots

 

He's def lost A step. But he's not anywhere near Manning's last year. He can still get some zip when he needs to. The decision making stuff I put a lot on just having a piss-poor attitude and being frustrated with his offensive line or receivers aren't perfect.

 

I don't disagree with any of that. But give him Allen, Williams, Henry, Ekeler and he'll be above average for sure. Not sure if above average will get the Chargers to the SB but if they finally have a healthy season they have a very well-rounded roster.

Yeah that's true too, I just don't know if Brady would have any actual involvement with Pats ownership whereas he potentially could in the far future with the Chargers so I guess it just depends on what he wants, wealth or control (probably the former)

The chargers are the cheapest owners in the league, 0 chance they offer brady anything. If he wants to try to buy them in the future, he can try regardless of whether he plays for them or not.

 

Nah. It's Robert to his son Johnathon. I don't think Brady really cares to be an owner. He's building out his TB12 brand. That's his focus right now.
