Did Chris Simms start the rumor about Bruce Arians wanting to sign Tom Brady?

If so, probably why he's saying Tampa Bay and New England are the only ones in it.

 

I agree it's a lot of money, but I do really do think he's going to continue to succeed in Tennessee.

Agreed. He wasnt bad in Miami...and considering the shitshow that the NYJ's were this year, I think its fair to put a lot of the blame on Gase and that offense, and not on Tannehill. Isnt basically every Miami player who got out from under Gase and that structure flourishing elsewhere?

Its one thing if its Foles off a few backup seasons...or handing Goff a truly fuck you level deal that was 4/134/114 guaranteed, and structured in a way that, even if the Rams WANT to cut him, he's a 20.5mil dead cap hit in 2022 (his $15.5mil 2022 roster bonus guarantees at weeks end). Like, the Goff deal was truly bad for the Rams to sign unless they were 1000% certain he was the guy, because it was functionally guaranteed for the life of that deal. They'll have to trade him at some point to get out of it.

I suspect Tannehills deal holds a lot less into years 3 and 4.

 

I think Tanny will crash back down to earth a little bit, but I also think he should be a solid starter for them at least

 

Yeah I'm really curious about the details of the Tannehill contract in the later years. Perhaps he isn't due as much later on in the deal or maybe they've got an out after two years or something

I don't live there anymore, but I used to live next to this Greek place that made incredible steak & chicken parm sandwiches. I think it was called George's? Bayside Bull had some great pulled pork/pit beef sandwiches for not much money. There used to be this place called The Canopy on Rt. 2 near Jumpers Hole that had awesome cheap bbq but they went to shit after new management took over. Donut Shack in Severna Park was one of my favorites too.
