I haven’t looked at contracts/caps/anything like that and am sure this is absurd but is there any reality the Lions could offer the picks the Rams sent over + their own picks + Goff for Watson? I don’t believe in any world that it’s happening but if I were Holmes I’d at least test the waters

i feel you there and am kinda in the same boat. Dak or Rodgers would be the dream, and when those don’t happen, I’d hope they fully look into trading up if they like any of this year’s QBs. If that doesn’t happen, I don’t really have a strong preference and just kinda want something to root for - whether it’s a Darnold reclamation project or Eason/another prospect panning out and developing. My two “don’t wants” are to have zero starting level QBs on the roster and to have to watch terrible QB play all season or to overpay someone bad for a long period of time

 

I crush it with goff in madden. Lions will be fine.

Yeah, I LOVE the way the Rams are doing things. Mind you, I am not a Rams fan, and if I was I'd absolutely hate it. But they might as well call the Chiefs and ask them if Mahomes is available too

God, I wish the Packers would have traded Rodgers for Goff just so whenever Drew Beringer says "the Packers are the worst franchise" the statement would actually have validity.

 

Wonder if the Rams offered what they did for Stafford or more (assuming more).

Packers should have asked for Cupp, Donald, Ramsey, two 1st round picks, OL (they have one good young one, right?) at least. Rams would/should/maybe(?) day no to that but it’s fun to imagine
