If Stafford wins a super bowl with the Rams, is he a HOFer?

Nah, no MVP’s and has never been one of the best in the league any year and only one ring? Nah

He’d be more of one than Eli but it’d still be borderline. I think he has a HOF ceiling but it’d take adding at least two top 5 seasons and a Super Bowl to his resume and as much as I love him I’d be hesitant to put a bunch of money on it happening.

if it does happen though I never doubted him and when we meet no one bring up that I said that

Eli deserves it more for having two rings and the stories to go along with who he beat and how he beat them.

Yeah but he wasn’t a good quarterback

for real though, Eli should not be in it lol. Neither should Stafford

Would you say Rivers makes the Hall of Fame with a ring? Because he had a better career than Stafford has so far.

    Eli
    117-117 60.3 comp% 57,023 yards 366 TD (4.5%) 244 INT (3.0%)

    Staffy
    74-90-1 62.2% comp% 45,109 yards 282 TD 144 (4.5%) INT (2.3%)

incomplete picture but Stafford will reach a lot of Eli’s statistical benchmarks by the end of his career, with a Super Bowl he’s at least as deserving.

If he’d won a ring yeah I think I’d put him in. He was really good.

Rivers I might put in regardless. Now that I think about it though I think I'd put Eli in. If we're looking at it from the perspective of who is the best then obviously no but if we're looking at it from "who were the defining players of that generation", you really can't talk about that era of football and leave out Eli Manning, he was integral to that.

That said, the Lions better fucking put Stafford in their Ring of Honor

Yeah, but the consensus is that Phillip Rivers is a HOF shoe in without any of those things you’ve mentioned and to me Stafford is just as good as him if not better.

Bill Simmons is a tool but I like his idea of a tiered Hall for situations like Rivers and Eli

    wanna go for a ryyyde

if rivers or stafford got a ring they definitely should be in the hof conversation since unlike eli they were pretty much always consistently good. i always liked rivers but as things stand i feel like he might fall just a little short, hes borderline at best.

  22. To me, it depends on how you view a hall of fame. Is it the highest accomplishment of achievement for talent and skill? Is it a museum collecting the most important players of a given era?

Option a) Eli is no way a hall of famer.
Option b) Yeah he probably is.

The dream is that Prescott can’t reach a deal with the Cowboys and the Colts sign him, but I know that isn’t going to happen lol.

Ive seen Darnold suggested which would be interesting, it’s possible he could be good on a better team. I’d like to see what Eason has to offer so no matter what they do I hope they give him a shot in the pre-season. But at this point there’s no one I have my eyes set on for them to go after, though I will say I hope they avoid Winston and Wentz
