I don’t like the Rams strategy but my criticism won’t be worth peanuts if they win a superbowl so WHATEVER I guess we’ll see how it goes.

I just think Chad coach / GMs build competitive teams in-house, and Virgin Sean McVays buy them with ridiculous FA money and trades

 

I dont think they win the super bowl. I think they bought themselves maybe one playoff win.

They've got pending FAs in John Johnson, Darious Williams, Troy Hill, Leonard Floyd, and Austin Blythe.

Who's to say what that defense even looks like if they lose 3 of their top 4 players in the secondary.

 

Yeah, Stafford still has to prove he can win in the playoffs before NFC Championship or Super Bowl expectations are even talked about really.

Lots of better quarterbacks than him haven’t achieved those levels.

They basically did a more aggressive version of what the Broncos did with Peyton; go all in on a specific window. Worked for Denver, but, its also not accidental they've been hot garbage for the 4-5 years since.

 

I mean we as a team did well enough that they felt they had to extend him. Idk haha. It was obviously a bad move but yeah

 

They also got really lucky cause Peyton played like trash for a lot of that year
