I dont love Goff, but if I'm the Colts, Pats, or WFT...with all that cap space...I'm calling DET right now and seeing what his price is. Without a doubt I'd give up like a 3rd to take on his deal versus having to use pick #15 on the 5th best rookie QB

figured it was at least the last couple of seasons but even so, 2021 Stafford to 2021 Brady, like, there's no argument to be made that Stafford is on his level. One team is picking top ten, one is in the super bowl.

are we really going to compare the Lions roster/coaching to the Bucs?

Regardless, I'm so excited to see Stafford on the Rams. Big fan of moving a QB when you know you've gotten all out of him that you're gonna. Watson too. Rivers was fun. Brady is fun. Etc...

Right, I disagree with the take but don’t think it’s ridiculous. If Stafford and Brady swapped teams this year, I don’t think the end records would be that different, and Brady’s stats would probably be a bit worse and Stafford’s a bit better

The Lions, man...I really want to be excited for them for 2022 and beyond, but then I remember they hired this guy.

  13. Dead ass I’ll be mad if the Packers beat the Rams in the NFC title game

but it’s the packers so I know they’ll choke if they make it that far again

For the record of we’re gonna talk about how “plum” Brady’s situations have been....he has been his most successful without Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

I bet the graph of the Patriots offensive success compared to their super bowl wins would be kinda funny looking haha

would have been crazy if another decent to good QB came to the AFC

Id do it for a 4th. His contract isn’t THAT bad considering all the gtd money is gone after two years.

Its basically a guaranteed version of what the Panthers offered Bridgewater, and Goff is definitely better than him.

I mean, objectively, the year he had them both he got 210 receptions and 31 TDs from them while getting nearly 5000yds...a miraculous play or two away from being the greatest team in NFL history (and hell, I'd still argue they are).

The 2001-2004 SB teams are absolutely a product of defense more than offense. I think Troy Brown is the only 1000+ yd receiver he has in there. Its why that 2007 season looms so large...he goes from pretty average QB numbers to routinely top 5 from there on. But yeah, the 2016 SB is probably the only one where you say "Brady and the offense" were the key. They're just so crazy efficient after he comes back off suspension.

Take arms, it'll all blow over Prestigious

I'd absolutely would pick '21 Stafford over '21 Brady that's a no-brainer.. Brady had a Winston statline in the title game.

That was kinda my point. If you define Brady’s success by rings, he was far more successful throwing to David Patten and Deion Branch and Edelman and James White than he was when they were trying to put up 50 points a game.
