Obviously I’m misunderstanding trade deadline rules but I thought after the 2020 deadline, trades couldn’t be agreed to until the start of the new season?

The thing is Drew’s points about Stafford are valid as far as I can tell, but he chooses Brady of all people to try to even him with and that is the worst possible comparison for any qb

 

literally all I said is that right now they are about the same talent wise

Brady is one of the all time greats but let's not ignore how plum all his situations have been over the last two decades

if he was in Detroit or equivalent franchise he would have retired already

Ultimately, the point Im making is that he's walking to a team that's better than any team he ever had in Detroit. He's going from the team that allowed the most yards in 2020 to the one that allowed the least...from the team that allowed the most points, to the team that allowed the least.

Rams were top 10ish in yards, but bottom 10 in points. Goff threw 9INTs on his own half of the field. The price is certainly laughably high, and I wont be surprised if it fails...but, there's little question the Rams are moving up a tier in QBs, and relative to literally any QB who was becoming available, he's the best they could get (Watson was NOT going to LA).

Rams were gonna be a 6-10 team at best in 2023 anyway, so I get the move.

 

Brady 100 percent has been on an offense just as bad as Detroit's have been. If not worse.

 

I'm not sold on either Dak or Kyler

If we're giving them time then sure but I'm counting everyone after two seasons and Kyler just had a better season than Stafford has had in years.
