This seems undeniable. First half of the year the Seahawks were early 2019 Miami Dolphins bad on defense. Wilson kept them in a TON of games. If Wilson got hurt early like Dak, SEA would be picking in the top 10 for sure, possibly even top 5.

I think this is what makes it worth it for the Rams. They have a decent OL that the Lions never have, they have a running game...he wont be running for his life half the time.

 

I think the Jets are the only team that can offer this due to trade rules unless i'm mistaken

5 1sts, Quinnen Williams/Marcus Maye and salary relief through them taking on a bad contract or two should be enough

I would put Stafford in the 10-15 range. Without actually ranking QBs 11 or 12 sounds right.

tbh probably do the thing the Patriots did last offseason. Wait for the market to give you something (a trade up in the draft, a disgruntled QB, etc) and if that doesn’t happen, get a veteran with upside on a one year deal and hope your 4th round QB is magically the answer

Rams were always constructed to win or be fucked by the end of 2022; I was presuming because all the restructures and trades would thin out their depth to the point they couldnt re-sign a lot of the big names. Instead, its cause they've traded every young, elite possible talent for expensive guys, but, this actually seems smart for them.

Getting out of Goff's deal is a win...not sure its worth the price, but, if you know you're never going over the top with him, that team is built to get someone who can possibly win it all. It sure as hell wasnt gonna be a rookie, and of the options, Stafford was the best they could afford.
