that first season that the Dolphins got Ricky Williams in 2002 was some of the craziest shit I've seen

that dude was so damn dominant at his peak. He had a stretch of 5 games that year where he had a total of 790 rushing yards and 8 TDs

thats like...a pretty decent season rushing nowadays and he did it in 5 games.

Goff isnt that terrible a contract to trade, and the team that takes him on takes on a 2yr/~$50mil guaranteed deal. Not great, but, also what you pretty much pay for any replacement level starting QB (for example, the Panthers paid Bridgewater about that). From the Rams side, they get him off the books for 2022 and beyond.

But thats the kind of contract NE trades for for like, a 4th and a conditional 5th next year. Not a 1st rounder that allows the Rams to get Stafford
