I think we've learned having a competent QB can minimize a lot of the other problems lol.

I'd much rather Stafford at 20 mill and have ~40 mill left to work on the roster than have Minshew and have $59 million to work on the Roster.

I won't crush them if they went a Minshew route, but I certainly won't love it.

He can move in the pocket, more so mean as a scrambler/runner/improviser.

 

You don't need that in the NFL. It's a nice trait for a QB to have, but it's not necessary. It's not like Jones is ranked ahead of Wilson and Lance (or even Justin Fields).

If a team is going to run a shotgun heavy, more traditional offense then he's a solid fit.
