Twins are a pretty good case for “teams that are good without having a decisive star player on the roster”. (Aside from signing Donaldson this off-season)

won 102 games last year and I’m sure the “casual” baseball fan can’t name more than 4 players on our roster, but I guess that kinda aligns with being in a small sports market/lack of marketing from the MLB itself.

 

2013 Texans' one great player for the season was JJ and we went 2-14

If the argument is only about QBs then the point is missed

 

My argument was never about like...team structure though. I simply said baseball of the major sports relies less on actual teamwork than football or hockey.

 

And hockey is the best example of tanking working.

Unless you are the Oilers.

 

I guess it also kinda helps when your team crushes 500 home runs in a year too

 

And he's running to be NFLPA president. Which if he gets, I can imagine the CBA passing.
