  1. man it's interesting to think about how those playoffs shake out if the refs don't blow that call

Detroit would have traveled to Seattle and the Panthers would have played the Packers

really I just want to live in an alternative reality where Brandon Bostic doesn't fumble an onside kick

  4. all you need to know about the Lions franchise is that it's so poorly ran that it caused two one of a kind players to quit in the midst of their primes haha

Man, Stafford in IND would be pretty potent. Rivers was fine, but, the few things he really cant do (deep balls, lock onto one WR and take over a game) are Staffords bread and butter.

Feels like WFT is where he could go and succeed the most. They can keep Alex Smith as a backup or easily trade him. And their O-line is good enough, skill position good enough, division soft enough, that I can see Stafford carving out a 9-7/10-6 year for sure there

Mark Ingram was gonna be the next big thing haha took awhile for him to be good

  9. man WFT with Stafford easily wins 10-11 games - they'll go 6-0 in their division for sure haha

Not just two one of a kind players. Likely the best RB and the third best WR of all fuckin time hha

they’ll never have that claim undisputed because their careers were short and they didn’t accumulate the numbers... but if you watched Calvin and Barry you know they’re #3 (behind Moss and Rice) and #1, respectively. The eye test is undeniable for them. (Much like my boy Tony Boselli)

The best rusher stafford ever had was bush for one season, then he was basically done

Kind of stunning he didnt retire after 2019. Played MVP level football on a team that cant block, cant defend, and cant run the ball for shit...gets to 3-4-1 before he gets hurt...they lost every remaining game and still bring that coach back.

Im betting a team like NE or CAR or other would have gladly traded for Stafford at the start of 2020 and he wouldnt have had to suffer another year of it.

As far as Boselli I can’t rank him. I obviously haven’t even watched enough of offensive line highlights / tape throughout history to begin to rank them. It costs money to even access that film let alone get around to studying specifically that part of the film.

but I will say this, as a non-authority on the subject who’s just really passionate about the details of football:

I’ve NEVER seen an OT play like Boselli. If I could create-a-player at that position, it would be exactly him.

Bruce Matthews is the classic GOAT offensive tackle I think. Art Shell was also stupidly good. Steelers, Cowboys, Raiders have all had studs. Anthony Munoz was really good too.

I will definitely say that I think Boselli would be above Pace and Ogden if he played as long as they did
