i don’t disagree with you about on the field performance for any of them, but the difference for me is that I can see a scenario where, if a team were to get Darnold or Trubisky, he could be their 2023 starting QB (but also he could flame out hard and sometimes a dud is a dud) and I have to squint hard to see that for Minshew. I’d love for him to prove me wrong because he’s a blast as a character and leaves it out on the field, but I see more shades of Case Keenum in him than Ryan Fitzpatrick

That’s also kind of believing that the Jaguars coaching staff wouldn’t have fucked up those prospects. I don’t believe Lamar would have had even half the seasons he did with the Jaguars staff leading him. Same for Mahomes. Watson maybe just because we’ve seen him still excel while surrounded by dysfunction but the rest have been very carefully and purposefully brought up by great coaches, staff and teammates that the Jaguars very much lack.
