Eventough the Nats have a killer pitching rotation, they proved last year that baseball is the most team oriented sport.

Baseball is the least team friendly sport in terms of like strategy and cohesion. Yes, I understand there's quite a bit of situational elements to baseball like shifts, sacrifice bunts, etc.. but in terms of everyone being one cohesive unit like in football or basketball, it's uniquely individual.

 

I detest the “mvp should go to a player on a playoff team” stance

burn the take to the ground, let Trout be lifetime MVP he is that good he is the best player every year he deserves it

If, by some random chance, every player on every playoff team hit .260/.320/.400 or whatever and someone on a sub-.500 team hit .338 with 55 HR should they not be mvp
