I often forget Stafford is only 32 honestly, thought he was more like 35-36. So I could see the argument to make that Stafford is a step up. Though I will stand by saying I think some time into the future when they are both out of the league, Rivers will be noted the better QB of the 2.

Yeah, Stafford has been a pretty reliable 4000yd, 25TD/10INT type QB even on some softer teams with no running game. He also had to throw 700+ times one season on a 4-12 team.

I personally am less bullish on acquiring him because I think the price is probably 2 firsts (maybe just 1) and I like him but not that much. I’d rather trade up in the draft for that price
