I think if you could find a way to talk the Panthers or 49ers or some NFC team into it...you do that at equal value over moving him in conference. But yeah, nobody has the firepower + young QB to trade like the Jets and Dolphins.

And they wont trade him to IND or JAX I imagine

 

Trade him to the Vikings.

 

There won’t be any trades for awhile, too

 

Also, I truly cant imagine a worse string of 2 years than this HOU team is about to have if they trade Watson, franchise management wise.

Go all-in on an elite LT to protect your franchise QB so he has time to throw to the best WR in the league and Fuller....and now that QB and WR are gone, Fuller almost surely wont re-sign, and by the time you're ready to compete again, that LT's contract is up and he gets the hell out.

They desperately need to get a top pick they cant miss on + Tua/Darnold, because otherwise legit all they might have to show for all this is Brandin Cooks and Tunsil otherwise

 

I know this is hypothetical, but I wonder who Houston would pick 3rd overall if they got Tua + 3rd + more

would they take Sewell to protect Tua's blindside at RT even though they have Tunsil for LT? Would they then take Devonta Smith?

 

The jets should try to make it seem like they’re going after fuller, maybe watson would want to come more

 

Feels like they'd have to take Sewell if they keep the pick. They can move Howard inside, and having two locked in tackles is how you keep Tua/Darnold alive (plus Sewell for dirt cheap if Tunsil doesnt resign in 2023). Smith/Cooks/Coutee/Cobb is certainly nice...but feels like they can find the 2nd/3rd WR they need in the 4th or something.

Though I imagine the dream is not taking a QB back from either team, take both their 1sts this year, a 2nd, and a future 1st and take the QB from this year you believe in. Though maybe Caserio has the same Alabama love and thinks Tua is the guy
